Overview
++Head of Marketing and Community — Up to $200K base + tokens/equity++
Amicus has recently partnered with a well-funded blockchain start-up in the Ethereum ecosystem building an L1 appchain purpose-built for tokenized real-world assets.
They are currently seeking a strategic and execution-focused Head of Marketing and Community to drive the expansion and engagement of their L1 ecosystem. This role sits at the intersection of community, marketing, and business development.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute community-building strategies across Telegram, X, and other relevant Web3 platforms.
- Build and execute the social content calendar with a Web3-native tone and cadence.
- Manage or coordinate with PR and comms partners for announcements, media relations, and thought leadership.
- Launch and manage ambassador, referral, and incentives programs.
- Represent the company at online and physical events, AMAs, panels, and ecosystem summits.
- Monitor community sentiment and use feedback to inform product and messaging.
- Lead multi-channel user acquisition campaigns (organic and paid).
- Cultivate relationships with wallets, aggregators, influencers, DAOs, and DeFi protocols.
- Drive integrations, co-marketing, and strategic growth partnerships.
- Collaborate with product and BD teams to align community efforts with roadmap and token launches.
- Implement and optimize data-driven growth funnels with a focus on activation, retention, and LTV.
- Work with AI marketing tools and workflows to improve targeting and automation.
Requirements
- 5+ years in a growth, marketing, or community role, with at least 2 years in Web3/crypto.
- Proven track record of growing large, engaged DeFi or blockchain communities — scaling from early-stage to tens or hundreds of thousands of users.
- Deep understanding of DeFi protocols, token mechanics, staking, DEXs, governance, and wallets.
- Comfortable explaining how on-chain systems work to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Familiar with AI-driven marketing tools.
- Strong public speaker and confident representing the brand externally.
Preferred
- Prior success launching a token or running a TGE/community campaign.
- Experience working with or building DAO communities.
- Familiarity with analytics tools (Dune, Nansen, Google Analytics, HubSpot, etc.)
- Based in EST timezone.
Compensation
- $140K-$200K base salary.
