SCOPE
ETRO is seeking a highly skilled PR & Digital Communications Coordinator to support the execution of communication and PR strategies in the U.S. market, with a strong digital focus. The role will act as the key contact for local press, stylists, and influencers, while staying aligned with the Global Brand Marketing strategy. This person will support the Head of Marketing and Communications by managing both traditional and digital PR activities, developing local storylines that reflect brand DNA, and integrating global directions into impactful U.S. activations.
The ideal candidate brings a hybrid background in PR, influencer marketing, digital campaign integration, and event execution, with strong knowledge of the American luxury media landscape and experience working with global teams.
PR & Media Relations
- Build and maintain relationships with U.S. media, stylists, and fashion editors to secure top-tier coverage.
- Act as local PR lead for product launches, campaign activations, events, and corporate communication.
- Draft and localize press releases, pitches, and talking points; manage and update media lists.
- Coordinate directly with Global Brand Marketing to align messages, calendars, and editorial strategy.
- Oversee press showroom sample logistics and ensure credits are monitored and reported.
- Lead media coverage reporting and analysis via Launchmetrics and DMR.
Digital & Influencer Marketing
- Identify and manage collaborations with fashion-forward influencers and digital talents in the U.S.
- Coordinate influencer seeding, storytelling, and contract negotiations when applicable.
- Align influencer campaigns with global moments and product pushes.
- Report on campaign performance, reach, and ROI across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
Digital Campaigns & Media Integration
- Plan and execute email marketing campaigns, including audience segmentation, content creation, and performance analysis.
- Collaborate with HQ on cross-platform campaigns like BrandMatch and Contextual Targeting, leveraging premium media partners (e.g., NYT, Vogue).
- Monitor campaign results against KPIs (CTR, ROI, engagement) and provide actionable insights to optimize performance.
Event Activation & Collaborations
- Collaborate with celebrities, artists, and stakeholders on mentorship programs, VIC events, and cultural activations tailored to the U.S. market.
- Execute pop-up stores, workshops, and brand activations that increase visibility and engage new audiences.
- Manage seating, requests, and photography access for fashion shows and presentations, including coordination for Milan Fashion Week.
Global Strategy Alignment
- Serve as the U.S. liaison for Global PR and Marketing initiatives, adapting global toolkits to the local context.
- Attend global meetings and ensure U.S. feedback, needs, and opportunities are shared with HQ. Collaborate with cross-functional global and regional teams on brand campaigns, press kits, and special projects.
Requirements
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, PR, Marketing, or related field
- 4–6 years of experience in luxury PR, digital communications, or marketing roles
- Experience in the fashion industry is essential; knowledge of the U.S. luxury market is mandatory
- Experience working within a global organization or matrixed structure is a plus
SPECIFIC SKILLS
- Solid network of U.S. media contacts, stylists, and influencers
- Strong writing and storytelling skills tailored to luxury fashion
- Familiarity with media monitoring tools (Launchmetrics, DMR), and digital analytics
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
- Experience in influencer marketing, email marketing, and digital campaign execution
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Able to travel internationally as needed

The pay range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000 per year, based on applicable qualifications and experience.
