Overview Of The Design Studio Specialist Role
You will inspire customers to express themselves in their home. You will bring the shopping experience to a seamless close as you assist customers and complete sales at the cash wrap. You will promote continued customer engagement and give customers a reason to stay connected with our Brand.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with design consultations in-store and in-home, including measuring and assessing living spaces to drive sales
- Create and present design plans based on client needs, style, and preferences
- Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions to meet or exceed sales goals
- Assist customers with services like gift wrap, registry, merchandise locating, special orders, and furniture orders
- Demonstrate product knowledge of the design studio assortment
Criteria
- Strong communication and customer follow-up skills
- Ability to handle complex orders across sales channels
- Experience with design elements preferred
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- 1-2 years of customer service and retail sales experience (retail preferred)
Physical Requirements
- Mobility on the sales floor for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move items up to 75 lbs.
- Availability to work a minimum of 15 hours/week, including weekends and holiday season
