Community Marketing
Event Research & Planning:
Identify and research local events that align with our brand and educational mission. Help plan and execute marketing initiatives for these events. School Visits:
Conduct outreach to local schools, promoting Tutor Doctor services and building relationships with key school administrators. Networking Events:
Research and attend local networking events to build business relationships and increase visibility within the community. Partnership Development:
Research and identify potential business and non-profit partnerships to enhance community outreach and brand awareness. Marketing Campaigns
Brand Awareness:
Assist in creating and executing strategies to increase the visibility of Tutor Doctor in the local market. Content Creation:
Develop engaging content for various marketing channels, including social media posts and promotional materials. Email Campaigns & Newsletters:
Support in the development and distribution of email campaigns and monthly newsletters to keep families informed about our services and promotions. Social Media Management
Monitor and Engage:
Monitor our Facebook and Instagram platforms, ensuring timely responses to comments, messages, and reviews. Engagement:
Proactively engage with our followers to create a strong, loyal online community and increase brand engagement. Qualifications:
Outgoing Personality: The ideal candidate should be personable, confident, and comfortable interacting with a variety of people in the community. Reliable Transportation: Must have a car to attend school visits, networking events, and community outreach activities within the metro-Richmond area. Strong Communication Skills: Must be able to clearly communicate in person, over the phone, and in written form. Proactive and Organized: Ability to manage multiple tasks, stay organized, and take initiative on projects. Passion for Education and Marketing: A genuine interest in education and a desire to learn about marketing in a fast-paced, real-world environment. Remote Work Environment: This position is primarily conducted remotely. Candidates must be comfortable working independently, managing their time effectively, and using digital communication and collaboration tools. Preferred Qualifications:
Enrolment in a marketing, communications, or related field of study. Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram). Basic understanding of email marketing platforms (e.g., MailChimp) and SEO is a plus. What You'll Learn:
Marketing Strategy: Learn how to create and execute comprehensive marketing plans to increase leads and drive brand awareness. Community Engagement: Develop valuable skills in networking, relationship building, and working with local businesses and non-profits. Content Creation: Gain hands-on experience in writing compelling copy and creating visual content for various platforms. Social media: Enhance your understanding of social media marketing, including creating engaging posts, scheduling, and measuring success.
