A well-respected Regional Property Management firm, in business for over 30 years with an expanding fee management portfolio, operating on the East Coast, is seeking a resourceful, community-minded team member for an affordable community. The Leasing Agent/Office Worker’s primary responsibility will be to promote the property's marketing and qualify applicants for occupancy. This responsibility requires organization and great attention to detail. On a daily basis, the Leasing Agent may conduct interviews, process paperwork, interact with various vendors and agencies, and simultaneously assist with several administrative and leasing tasks required to keep the rental office running smoothly. A successful candidate must be able to multitask well, all within specific time constraints. Specific Duties Include The Following Maintain property waiting list Coordinate on-site data collections and processing of resident information Schedule applicant interviews and site tours Ensure accurate calculation of income, assets, rent levels, and other relevant factors. Coordinate apartment inspections Maintain resident files in accordance with company policy & regulatory agency policy Specific Requirements Must be able to read, write, and communicate verbally in English Must have previous leasing experience – 3 Years property management Section 8 and/or Low Income Housing Tax Credit experience is required. A COS or similar certification is a plus, but is not required.
