scaling the Discord Shop , driving
content strategy ,
merchandising , and
revenue growth building on the success of cosmetic drops like SpongeBob, Valorant, and Star Wars. What You'll Be Doing
Set the Strategic Vision : Lead cross-functional planning to define how to 10x the Discord Shop's impact and revenue. Work hand-in-hand with product to craft and execute the roadmap. Own Content Strategy : Drive first-party and third-party content drops by working with BizDev and Product Creative teams. Prioritize high-value opportunities and guide them to launch. Lead Go-To-Market Execution : Build and scale the GTM engine content planning, merchandising, pricing, promotions, timelines for consistent, high-performing releases. Optimize Shop Discovery & Revenue : Collaborate with product on merchandising and discovery enhancements that increase visibility and user conversion. Meet Revenue Goals : Youll be accountable for delivering annual revenue targets. What You Should Bring
8+ years
in
product marketing ,
ecommerce , or
digital retail
ideally in gaming, online consumer products, or interactive entertainment. Proven track record of launching digital products and managing performance-based marketing campaigns. Strong
project management and operational execution
skills; comfortable owning timelines and aligning multiple teams. Experience working in
ambiguous, zero-to-one environments
can set direction with limited precedent. Experience in the
gaming industry
or
game-adjacent consumer content
(e.g., game merch, skins, cosmetics). Entrepreneurial spirit background at a startup or high-growth org is a plus. You're likely a strong fit if: Youve worked in
product marketing or monetization strategy
at a gaming, ecommerce, or digital content platform. You have experience with
seasonal content drops ,
IP licensing/collaborations , or
in-app purchases . You're both a
strategist and executor
able to shape long-term vision but also sweat launch details. You can translate user insights into action and know how to position digital products for
