What’s the Role?
You'll
lead the entire go-to-market (GTM) strategy
for the Discord Shop — an in-app marketplace for digital cosmetic items. Your job is to grow revenue, drive user engagement, manage high-profile content drops, and define how the shop fits into the overall user experience. Define and lead the
vision and strategy
to scale the Discord Shop business. Drive
content planning
in partnership with the Biz Dev and Creative teams (e.g., Star Wars, Valorant collabs). Manage
pricing, merchandising, promotions , and revenue growth strategies. Collaborate with Product to integrate shop experiences more deeply into Discord’s platform. Lead and
optimize launch operations
for digital goods and cosmetic items. You Should Have :
8+ years
in product marketing, ecommerce, or digital merchandising. Experience in
online retail ,
in-game cosmetic economies , or gaming ecosystems. Strong
project management & operational execution
skills. Experience in ambiguous, fast-moving environments (startups a plus). A strategic mindset + the ability to own revenue performance and product GTM. Background in
gaming or entertainment . Experience managing or launching
digital items/virtual goods
in consumer platforms. Familiarity with
brand partnerships
or IP-based content drops. You’ll be part of a company that’s defining the future of social gaming and online community culture. With
