Selectek has a client in Louisville, KY that has an immediate need for a Mechanical Engineer or Designer. Candidates will be responsible for designing replacement parts for rotary dryers, kilns, grinder mills and other machine parts.
Required:
1-2 years of experience as a mechanical engineer or designer Inventor or SolidWorks experience Strong mathematical skills Strong Excel skills Strong report writing
Preferred:
Experience with statics and dynamics Experience with materials sciences Experience with thermodynamics and heat transfer Machine design experience
Job order details: Candidates will be performing parts layouts for steel parts and assembly drawings in Inventor for replacement parts for rotary dryers, kilns, and grinding mills. Engineers will have to travel 25% of the time to client sites to evaluate equipment and custom design replacement parts. If candidates do not have Inventor, the client will accept SolidWorks experience. Sponsorship: No Pay range: $26/hour - $28/hour ($50,000 - $58,000 when direct) Term of assignment: 6 months contract to direct Pay method when direct: Salary Location of job: Louisville, KY Hours and shift: M-F -8-5, but flexible with candidates if they need 7-4 or 9-6 for Kid drop offs or pickups etc. Work from home/remote: No Overtime expected: No Travel: 25% to client sites Work attire: Business Casual Does the client require a background check?
