We have an exciting opportunity with our client in Louisville, KY, who is seeking a Mechanical Designer to join their engineering team. This individual will be responsible for designing component parts and producing detailed parts layouts and assembly drawings in Inventor (SolidWorks experience will also be considered).

Key Responsibilities:

• Create parts layouts and assembly drawings for steel replacement parts used in rotary dryers, kilns, and grinding mills.
• Collaborate with engineering and field service teams to ensure design accuracy and functionality.
• Support the development of replacement components by applying knowledge of rotating machinery and materials behavior.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Mechanical Designer.
• Proficiency in Inventor or SolidWorks.
• Strong mathematical aptitude.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and technical report writing.
• Solid understanding of statics, dynamics, material science, thermodynamics, and heat transfer.

Preferred Industry Experience:
