Design Manager/Project Manager
working with clients across industries to inform brand experiences, graphic communications, and spatial design projects that embody our clients' mission, vision, and purpose. This position is ideal for a personable account manager to serve as the main point of contact externally and internally with the project team. The candidate should have a passion for helping others and providing exceptional client service, with proficiency in audits, spreadsheets, and productivity software. Alternatively, this role suits a project manager to be the main contact externally with clients and internally with the project team, requiring a collaborative approach and experience in client service and project management. Learn More About Gensler's Brand Practice What You Will Do Manage projects independently, including team strategies, staffing, time, and budget management Maintain accurate client records, scopes of work, and contract updates Coordinate vendor and consultant contributions Contribute to new business proposals and presentations Develop client engagement strategies, people-centric approaches, and project efficiencies Manage studio financial cycles, follow-ups, calendars, and deadlines Lead with excellence, curiosity, kindness, and drive Collaborate with strategy and design leaders on presentations, workshops, and research Draft and edit project briefs Research client issues, consumer behavior, and design trends Your Qualifications 8+ years' experience in interior design, architecture, agency, marketing, or related fields 3+ years' experience in environmental/experiential graphic design Bachelor's degree in a design-related field Highly organized with tools supporting efficiency Excellent communication skills, with client interaction experience Ability to multitask effectively Experience managing projects and design teams, client and team-oriented Proficiency in MS Office; Adobe Creative Suite is a plus Application Instructions Please submit a cover letter, resume, and/or portfolio in PDF format. *The estimated base salary ranges from $91,000 to $114,000, plus bonuses and benefits, depending on experience.
