Position Overview

Shaw Sports Turf is transforming athletic fields, and we are seeking a forward-thinking Game On & CreaTurf Designer to lead this innovation. This role combines creative design with production expertise, serving as the creative lead for concept development and visualization, collaborating with Sales, and converting designs into manufacturable layouts. You will support our Game On and CreaTurf platforms, working closely with CAD Engineers and being involved in all design stages from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Conceptualize original field designs for sales presentations, emphasizing visual impact
  2. Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Distributors to create presentation renderings
  3. Translate approved designs into detailed layouts for production processes
  4. Convert vector graphics into compatible raster files
  5. Rework customer artwork for clarity and manufacturing suitability
  6. Provide CAD/PDF files and installation instructions
  7. Partner with Manufacturing and CAD teams to resolve layout challenges
  8. Maintain version control throughout the project lifecycle
  9. Support design execution for Game On and CreaTurf lines
  10. Act as a creative consultant internally, advocating bold design ideas

What We’re Looking For

  1. A creative visionary with understanding of spatial design, branding, and production
  2. Attention to detail with project management skills
  3. Strong graphic design skills with proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop
  4. Experience in environmental graphics, large-format layout, or sports branding is preferred
  5. Technical skills in file preparation, scaling, and pattern repeat
  6. Familiarity with CAD tools or willingness to learn
  7. Ability to interpret architectural blueprints and technical specifications
  8. Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset

Preferred Qualifications

  1. 3–5 years in graphic or product design
  2. Experience with sports fields, event spaces, or branded environments
  3. Knowledge of turf, flooring, textile, or signage production
