WBRE 28 (NBC), WYOU 22 (CBS) and 2822News.com are looking for a dynamic, outgoing Co-Host/Producer and Influencer for our weekday lifestyle show, Pa Live! Nexstar Media Group is America’s largest local television and media company operating 200 full power stations, News Nation and CW TV networks and an exploding digital media operation.

The Pa Live Producer/Host is responsible for co-producing and co-hosting a week-day live program and fostering a dynamic engaging presence on the station’s digital platforms including social media and CTV.

• Provide compelling on-camera contributions to daily television show and digital platforms.
• Interview PA Live! show guests/clients both in studio and on location.
• Produce weekday 1-hour live lifestyle show along with additional shows and or segments that may air outside the program’s regular weekday schedule.
• Book and schedule live and pre-taped in-studio interviews and on-location segments.
• Research topics for show topics and develop questions for guests.
• Attend daily show meetings.
• Work closely with sales and marketing teams to integrate and schedule sponsored client segments.
• Build relationships with guests, clients, community members, celebrities and show contributors.
• Support the sales team by helping with presentations and participating in client meetings.
• Participating in events either station sponsored or others to promote the show and station.
• Develop and share engaging content on station’s social media platforms.
• Foster a strong relationship with followers through social media with direct interaction and community engagement.
• Maintain PA Live! social media accounts and assist with all online content.
• Other duties as assigned.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in film, photography, television, news or related field or equivalent professional experience
• Proven experience as host or on-air personality highly valued.
• Must have strong editorial judgment.
• Experience with social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and others.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills.
• Proficiency in content creation tools and podcasting are a plus.
• Should exhibit a positive, outgoing personality and the ability to build rapport easily.
• Ability to prioritize and address multiple projects with varying production timelines.
• Must be energetic, positive and great in a team environment.
• Must be a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient in driving engagement and promoting content across social media platforms.
• Must be able to juggle multiple tasks under strict deadlines.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
