Job Description:
The Digital Marketing & Social Media Manager will serve as Webers in-house lead for paid and organic digital campaigns, website updates, and school-wide digital content. This full-time position reports to the Director of Marketing and works closely with the Admissions, Development, and Academic teams to develop messaging that enhances the school profile in service of student enrollment, fundraising, and Institutional Advancement. This is a hands-on, creative, and strategic role for someone who understands both performance metrics and the power of a good story. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and energized by being on campus, capturing the real moments that define The Weber School experience. Primary Responsibilities Paid Digital Advertising Plan, execute, and optimize paid campaigns across Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google Ads, and other relevant platforms. Create or adapt ad copy and coordinate visuals (graphic, photo, or video assets). Manage budgets, targeting, bidding strategies, and A/B tests for performance. Track key performance metrics and adjust strategies to improve engagement, reach, and ROI. Deliver monthly campaign reports with insights and recommendations. Organic Social Media Management Develop and maintain a content calendar that aligns with the school year, key events, holidays, and admissions milestones. Write, schedule, and post organic content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube Capture photography and video on campus or coordinate with internal stakeholders for visual assets. Monitor DMs, comments, and community tags; engage in a warm, responsive voice that reflects Webers values.
Website & E-Communications Support ongoing website updatesnews stories, event recaps, program highlights, and page maintenance. Collaborate on school-wide email newsletters and announcements. Coordinate with departments to ensure consistent digital messaging and tone. On-Campus Presence & Media Gathering Attend key school events to capture photo and video content. Maintain a digital archive of usable media for future content and campaigns. Collaboration Across Departments Work closely with Admissions on recruitment-focused content and campaigns. Partner with Advancement to support fundraising initiatives Liaise with Athletics, Arts, and Academies to promote student experiences and achievements. Qualifications 35 years of professional experience in digital marketing, social media, or communications Demonstrated experience running both paid and organic campaigns Strong writing and content creation skills, with a clear and engaging tone Proficiency with tools like Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and Google Analytics (GA4) Comfortable using Adobe Creative Suite for light graphic design Familiarity with Blackbaud or other SIS/LMS platforms (Veracross, Finalsite, etc.) A proactive, campus-present approach: willing to leave the desk, attend events, and build relationships Organized, communicative, and collaborative
