About The Team and The Role
We have a newly created position for a Business Development Manager to drive eBay’s sneakers business, focusing on sustainability and fashion industry growth. The role involves shaping category strategy, acquiring key sellers and brands, and expanding inventory to enhance our marketplace offerings.
The successful candidate will build and manage an acquisition pipeline, work with new sellers to optimize their trading capabilities, and develop partnerships to grow our inventory and market share.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop relationships with potential sellers and brands to ensure a steady inventory supply.
- Collaborate with onboarded sellers to maximize their trading success on eBay.
- Innovate and improve operational models to adapt to evolving ecommerce trends.
Qualifications
- Experience in eCommerce, marketplaces, and fashion, with a focus on sneakers or accessories.
- Proven success in developing new business and managing relationships across diverse functions.
- Strong strategic, analytical, and negotiation skills.
