Hedonisia Hawaii EcoFeminist Community was founded in 2004 in the Hawaiian rainforest, based on ecofeminism and ecotourism. Despite its small size, the community's projects have a global reach, driven by idealism and pragmatism, seeking entrepreneurial and creative solutions to global challenges.

In 2018, the community was destroyed by lava from the Kilauea eruption. Undeterred, efforts continue on projects from the pre-volcano community. A one-acre green zone, known as a Kipuka, remained uncovered by lava, and preparations are underway to return through planting and landscaping.

Currently, the community operates virtually, with over 500 volunteers worldwide contributing to projects within the Hedonisia Lava to Lotus Portfolio. We invite volunteers to join our virtual team, selecting projects that resonate with their interests.

Entrepreneurial social activism can sometimes be more effective than traditional nonprofits, which often rely heavily on fundraising. Earning an income while making a positive impact is more sustainable long-term, enabling companies to influence political, environmental, and social change.

We seek volunteers with experience in writing, editing, proofreading, and research. Our books are nearing publication, and we need help finalizing the manuscripts.

Volunteers with curiosity or experience in self-publishing are also welcome to assist in preparing manuscripts for Kindle, Draft2Digital, or other formats.
