MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Journeyman Content Specialist to join our team in Doral, Florida.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

• Responsible for supporting the development of comprehensive training content, collaborating with senior content creators, Systems and Software Engineers, and subject matter experts.
• Contributes to the creation of diverse instructional materials, including documents, audio/video recordings, interactive training systems, LMS modules, and immersive AR/VR environments.
• Collaborates closely with Graphic Designers and A/V Specialists to produce high-quality media that aligns with instructional goals, supporting synchronous, asynchronous, and self-service learning experiences.
• Develops interactive multimedia instruction (IMI) modules across all levels of interactivity, including interactive PDFs, basic web-based training, branching scenarios, simulations, game-based learning, and immersive VR/AR training experiences.
• Facilitates comprehensive and engaging IT and cybersecurity training programs.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors’ degree in a related field or 4 additional years of experience may be exchanged in lieu of a degree
• 4+ years of experience with 2+ years of position-specific relevant experience.
  
  

Desired Qualifications

• Master’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Instructional Design, Technical Writing, or a related field.
• Experience in developing instructional materials for the Department of Defense (DoD) or the Intelligence Community (IC).
• Vocational or technical training and education in English, Journalism, Communications, Instructional Design, Technical Writing, or a related field.
• CompTIA Security+ (or similar entry-level cybersecurity certification), Certified Professional in Training Management (CPTM), instructional design certifications (e.g., from ATD or similar organizations), technical writing certifications (e.g., Certified Technical Communicator (CTeC), and training in specific authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia).
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Experience at a DoD Combatant Command (e.g., SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, SPACECOM) or a component is desired.
  
  

Clearance Requirements

• Must have an active Secret clearance.
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
• The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
