Hiring Range: $37,125 - $56,080, salary contingent upon available funding

Position Overview

This position leads video strategy and supports communication efforts to engage prospective students and promote the university brand. Responsibilities include creating content for admissions videos, planning and executing shoots, scripting, creating graphics, conducting interviews, and producing/editing videos for various platforms. The role also involves writing content for email communication and supporting special initiatives, contributing to the university's enrollment goals.

Required Qualifications

• High School/GED (degree conferred on or before start date)
• Five years of professional experience in multimedia, communications, marketing, or journalism, including video, writing, web, editing, and content creation. Post-secondary education may substitute for experience.
• Valid Driver's License
• Experience with shooting and editing videos, using video cameras, tripods, microphones, lights, and editing software like Adobe Premiere. Strong writing and editing skills. Ability to lift 45 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field
• Three years of progressive experience in new media, publications, marketing, or related projects, including internships.
