Overview
The Digital Marketing Strategist is responsible for shaping and executing our holistic digital marketing strategy to drive lead generation, elevate brand visibility, and accelerate e-commerce performance. This player-coach role defines and delivers strategies that attract, engage, and convert our target audiences through innovative and data-driven approaches across owned, earned, and e-commerce channels.
Responsibilities
- Own the companys digital footprint, ensuring a cohesive, optimized, and high-performing online presence across all channels.
- Manage and optimize customer segmentation, campaign performance tracking, and reporting within HubSpot, ensuring data integrity and actionable insights.
- Develop and refine strategic digital campaign plans with objectives, target audiences, messaging, channel mix, and KPIs; directly implement and manage campaigns from concept to execution.
- Develop and optimize advanced digital acquisition strategies across earned, owned, paid, and e-commerce media to maximize reach and conversion.
- Manage website optimization and e-commerce functionality to deliver an exceptional user experience and lead capture performance, including content management system and e-commerce platform work.
- Own paid media strategy, planning, execution, and optimization across platforms (e.g., Google Ads, social advertising), managing budgets to maximize ROI.
- Develop a minimum viable plan (MVP) for an influencer pipeline and execute a proof-of-concept campaign to demonstrate effectiveness.
- Lead SEO and content strategy, including keyword research, on-page and technical SEO, and content creation; manage email marketing campaigns with advanced segmentation for nurturing and promotions.
- Analyze digital marketing performance using HubSpot analytics, e-commerce data, and paid media dashboards; provide regular KPI, ROI reports, and actionable recommendations.
- Manage social presence (primarily LinkedIn), engage with industry professionals, build brand authority, and generate leads through content and community management.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
- 35 years of experience in digital marketing, preferably in a strategy or campaign management role
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Analytical mindset with creative thinking
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders
- Comfortable making data-driven decisions
Core Experience & Knowledge
- Strategic planning: multichannel marketing strategy development
- Digital advertising: experience with Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn Ads
- SEO & SEM: understanding of organic and paid search
- Content strategy: guiding or creating content for blogs, social media, video
- Analytics & data interpretation: proficient with Google Analytics and campaign tracking
- CRM & email marketing tools: familiar with HubSpot, Salesforce, or Mailchimp
- Marketing automation: understanding of workflows, segmentation, nurture sequences
Bonus or Preferred Qualifications
- Google Ads and/or Analytics certifications
- Experience with A/B testing and CRO
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS or CMS platforms like WordPress
- Experience in e-commerce, B2B, or verticals such as healthcare, education, or SaaS
