We are currently searching for an Advertising Sales Consultant who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative sales environment. You will astonish clients with our dynamic portfolio of advertising solutions including top sports, entertainment, and information networks across streaming, digital video, display, audio, and social media platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn; plus email marketing, paid search, and more.

What You'll Do

  • Engage in prospecting and relationship-building by connecting with clients to understand their goals and how to achieve them through effective marketing campaigns.
  • Sell customized solutions and digital advertising strategies.
  • Create and pitch compelling presentations and proposals to clients.
  • Represent Cox Media at local business community events, trade shows, and industry gatherings.
  • Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting processes.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, with 4 years of sales experience, or a master's degree with 2 years of experience; alternatively, 8 years of relevant experience will be considered.
  • Proven success in sales and business development, particularly in identifying new opportunities and nurturing strong client relationships.
  • Experience in prospecting and crafting customized strategies to meet client objectives.
  • Ability to successfully develop new business and meet individual sales goals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • A valid driving license and reliable transportation.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with a capability to close deals and build lasting relationships.

Preferred

  • Strong understanding of digital advertising platforms including streaming, display, social media, email marketing, and paid search.
  • Experience selling a mix of customized solutions and digital advertising.
  • Knowledge of the competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools for tracking and managing activities.

Base Salary: $46,000.00 - $69,000.00 per year. This range may vary based on the position's location and the candidate's experience. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive/commission target of $69,000.00 - $103,400.00.
