What You'll Do

  • Engage in prospecting and relationship-building to connect with new and existing clients, understand their needs, and create tailored marketing campaigns.
  • Sell customized solutions alongside digital advertising initiatives.
  • Create and deliver engaging presentations and proposals.
  • Represent Cox Media at local business community events, trade shows, and industry functions.
  • Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting process.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and a minimum of 4 years of experience in sales, or 8 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Proven success in sales and business development, particularly in identifying new business opportunities and fostering strong client relationships.
  • Strong experience in prospecting and understanding client objectives to develop tailored strategies.
  • Ability to meet individual sales goals and develop new business.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong multitasking skills in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driving license and reliable transportation.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities, with a successful track record of closing sales.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of digital advertising platforms, including streaming, digital video, display and audio, social media, email marketing, and paid search.
  • Experience in selling a combination of customized solutions and digital advertising.
  • Familiarity with industry trends and competitive landscape to identify business opportunities.
  • Comfortable using CRM software and sales tools for managing activities.

Compensation: $46,000.00 - $69,000.00 per year, with potential annual incentives/commissions of $69,000.00 - $103,400.00.

The Company also offers a generous vacation policy, seven paid holidays, and up to 160 hours of paid wellness time annually, along with additional paid leave options.
