We are seeking a Senior Advertising Account Executive who is passionate about exceeding client expectations through a diverse portfolio of advertising solutions. What You’ll Do
- Engage in proactive prospecting and relationship-building with both new and existing clients to understand their goals and help them achieve success.
- Develop tailored marketing campaigns that effectively meet client objectives.
- Sell a range of customized solutions along with digital advertising services.
- Create and deliver compelling presentations and proposals.
- Represent Cox Media at community events, trade shows, and industry gatherings.
- Participate in budget planning and sales forecasting.
Who You Are
You thrive in ambitious settings and enjoy connecting clients with remarkable solutions. Your inquisitive nature leads you to innovative ideas and strategies. You possess:
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline with 4+ years of experience in sales; or a different combination such as a master’s degree with 2 years of experience; or 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- A proven track record in sales and business development, with a focus on nurturing client relationships and achieving targets.
- Strong skills in prospecting and relationship management, along with the ability to create customized strategies.
- A knack for developing new business opportunities and fulfilling sales objectives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- The ability to multitask and excel in a fast-paced environment.
- A valid driver’s license and a reliable means of transportation.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with a history of closing deals and fostering long-term client relationships.
Preferred Qualifications
- A comprehensive understanding of digital advertising platforms, including streaming services, social media (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn), email marketing, and paid search.
- Ability to sell a mix of customized solutions and digital advertising.
- Knowledge of the competitive landscape and industry trends to identify new business avenues.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools for tracking activities.

Salary: $46,000.00 - $69,000.00 per year. This role is also eligible for an annual commission target of $69,000.00 - $103,400.00.
The Company offers eligible employees flexible vacation options, seven paid holidays each year, and paid wellness time for personal or family care. Additional time off includes bereavement, voting, jury duty, volunteering, military leave, and parental leave.
