The School Marketing and Communication Coordinator assists the principal in preparing information for effective and efficient communication of school initiatives and activities utilizing print and electronic platforms. This position is ideal for a creative, bilingual professional with strong communication. design, and community-building skills, particularly someone with a background in education and a passion for faith-based learning environments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The coordinator will oversee marketing campaigns, manage donor relations, support development initiatives, and help tell the story of SJVS to families, alumni, and the broader community. This individual will work closely with the principal in collaboration with admissions and the Development Committee of the School Advisory Board.The following duties and functions, as outlined herein, are intended to be representative of the type of tasks performed within this classification. They are not listed in any order of importance. • Experience working in a school environment or educational institution.
• Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English (oral and written).
• Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, social media platforms, CRM systems, and email marketing tools.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field and three (3) or more years' experience and/or training.

WORKING CONDITIONS
The working hours of this position are not limited to an 8-hour day. This person will need to be available in the evening and weekends, as needed. Must be willing to work in conditions of stress and function well under pressure.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The ability to sit and stand for long periods of time. Must be able to reach, grasp, feel, and see up close and from afar. Must be able to use basic office computer hardware and peripherals, with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be able to communicate verbally and in written form. Tasks require the ability to exert light physical effort in sedentary to light work, but which may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of light weight (15 pounds).

- Gathers, synthesizes, and creates reports on statistical analysis, including website and social media analytics, to establish the effectiveness of the communication strategy.
- Develop engaging content (visual, written, and video) to promote student stories, campus life, academic excellence, and spiritual formation.
- Design and produce marketing materials: brochures, signage, flyers, banners, and digital assets, for both internal and external use using Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Manages all content and tracks analytics for social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, YouTube).
- Creates compelling graphics for social media using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
- Writes, designs, and releases weekly newsletters to students and families as directed by supervisor.
- Maintains and updates the school's website, including calendar changes, and directory updates.
- Creates, proofreads, and publishes written and visual content for the news/blog school website.
- Develops and executes marketing campaigns that generate interest and participation in educational programs, schools, or other related opportunities.
- Track enrollment trends and analyze the market; connect with area parishes and community associations to recruit new families.
- Coordinate SJVS presence in parish bulletins and maintain promotional materials.
- Work with the school store and ensure promotional items are available and updated.
- Plan marketing events with the admissions team and assist in creating a reputation of hospitality and welcome.
- Maintain accurate donor and alumni records using a CRM or fundraising database.
- Coordinate and support all school fundraising events, including auctions, galas, and family campaigns.
- Conduct surveys and gather community feedback to support strategic goals.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
