My client is looking for a sharp, versatile Business Reporter who’s passionate about telling the stories that impact everyday Americans — from the economy and personal finance to corporate news, careers, and money trends. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced newsroom, enjoys digging into data, and knows how to find the human angle behind the headlines.

You’ll be writing for two high-traffic digital platforms, collaborating with a smart, driven editorial team, and working closely with producers and reporters across platforms. The right candidate is a self-starter with strong editorial instincts, a talent for spotting stories early, and a track record of delivering clean, engaging copy on tight deadlines.

Who You Are:

• You’ve got at least 4 years of experience covering business news for a national digital outlet
• You follow earnings calls, Reddit threads, and CEO interviews with equal interest
• You understand what makes a story go viral and how to connect with readers online
• You’re comfortable with analytics tools like Chartbeat or Adobe
• You’re a collaborative team player who’s also great at working independently
• Bonus points if you have experience with video or audio storytelling

This is a newsroom-based digital role — not on-air — and offers a great opportunity to shape coverage on some of the biggest financial topics of the day.
