Work with Practice Leader to declare a primary industry specialization (vertical). May also choose a secondary vertical aligned with the primary. Retain at least 92% of business year over year with leadership and account management support. Meet new business activity and appointment goals. Research prospects and develop customized messaging using USI resources. Explain USI’s competitive differentiation to clients and prospects. Develop sales plans and prospecting strategies. Innovate for clients using market knowledge and technical insurance expertise. Participate in industry meetings, video calls, and networking events. Use USI’s tools for sales support and data entry. Engage in training and pursue cross-selling opportunities. Collaborate on account management services. Demonstrate knowledge of competitors. Represent USI professionally in various events. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 3+ years sales experience in insurance brokerage with proven success. College degree preferred. Property & Casualty license required. Strong P&C insurance knowledge. Personable, motivated, goal-oriented. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Organized with strong follow-up skills. Positive, resourceful, and customer-focused approach.
