This position will work under the direction of the Director of Education and Promotion, Health & Wellness.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist with the marketing of Health & Wellness programs and services utilizing various methods/platforms.
  • Maintain the organizational web page.
  • Design and implement health communications for key topics/issues.
  • As time permits, the candidate will assist with developing and implementing effective, audience-tailored public health education outreach campaigns using both traditional and electronic media, websites, and other communication platforms.

This position is limited to 125 hours between the hire date and 6/30/26. The weekly commitment is 3-4 hours.

Minimal Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in health education/public health, marketing, communication, or related field and three years of related experience.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong proficiency in current and emerging technology and computer applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Canva), Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere), and social media platforms and management programs (Buffer, Meta Business Suite).
  • Ability to work well in a team.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in public health or related field.
  • Certified Health Education Specialist.
  • Experience with adolescent health and development.
  • Knowledge of health issues impacting college students and/or experience in a college health setting.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines, high volume, and multiple disruptions.
