Job Description

The Dallas Morning News is looking for an Audience Journalist to deepen community engagement and promote journalism content across platforms. The role involves digital storytelling, social media management, analytics monitoring, headline optimization, newsletter curation, and collaboration with editorial teams. The ideal candidate is a digital storytelling enthusiast with strong writing, editing, and social media skills, able to work under tight deadlines in a collaborative environment.

Job Requirements

Preferred skills include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, newsroom internship experience, strong news judgment, familiarity with audience data and content management systems, SEO and headline writing skills, social media expertise, and the ability to innovate and adapt in a fast-paced, data-driven environment. Prior reporting and editing experience are a plus, as is knowledge of copyright law and audience analysis.
