The COMMUNITY MANAGER is responsible for managing operations and maximizing the financial value of an assigned apartment community. This position oversees personnel, marketing, leasing, collections, resident relations, resident retention, customer service, community maintenance, contracted services, capital improvements, administration, reporting, community and employee safety, and legal compliance. This includes achieving the financial and operational goals. The COMMUNITY MANAGER leads on-site staff to ensure a sufficient flow of revenue by leasing a high percentage of apartment units at the optimum rates while maintaining each apartment unit and the property grounds at a functional and high aesthetic level and controlling expenses.

  • We are looking for an experienced and proactive Community Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and foster a strong sense of community at a managed property. This contract-to-hire role is ideal for someone with excellent communication skills and a passion for creating positive resident experiences. The initial contract period will serve as an opportunity to assess performance and alignment, with the potential to transition into a permanent position.

  • We are seeking a dedicated and professional Community Manager to oversee the daily operations of a residential or commercial property. This role is responsible for ensuring the property runs smoothly, residents or tenants are well-supported, and the community remains a welcoming, well-maintained environment.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, tenants, and vendors.
  • Oversee leasing activities, move-ins, move-outs, and lease renewals.
  • Coordinate maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Manage property budgets, rent collection, and basic financial reporting.
  • Enforce community rules and regulations to maintain a safe and respectful environment.
  • Plan and implement community events to foster resident engagement and satisfaction.
  • Work closely with ownership or property management leadership to meet occupancy, service, and financial goals.
  • Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in property or community management.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Resman, Yardi, AppFolio, or similar).
  • Knowledge of fair housing laws and local regulations.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and with attention to detail.
