Description

As part of the GPU Platform Architecture team, you will work with architecture, design, and software partners on defining and tuning Appleʼs future GPU Power architectures. The role involves C++ and Python code development, as well as building and maintaining GPU models aimed at understanding and enhancing the power architecture of Appleʼs GPUs. You will collaborate with experienced GPU architects, RTL designers, and software teams to assess the feasibility of new hardware and software power features, conduct experiments, and report findings. This is an opportunity to join Appleʼs world-class GPU team to develop and improve GPU modeling and features for power architecture.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience in GPU or CPU architecture and micro-architecture design
  • Proficiency in C/C++ and scripting languages such as Python or Ruby

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in large cross-functional teams
  • Experience in power modeling, active power management, and analyzing device power
  • Experience with adaptive or machine learning algorithms
  • Interpersonal skills and creativity to solve design challenges
  • Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering
  • Relevant experience of 20+ years
  • Ability to travel internationally 3-5 times a year
  • Ability to work with complex designs from architecture to production
At Apple, base pay is part of a total compensation package, determined within a range. The pay range for this role is $212,000 to $318,400, depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
