What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead the authoring, restructuring, and updating of 70+ security policies in alignment with NIST 800-53
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications using MS Project
- Coordinate with SMEs and Policy/Architecture teams to ensure timely progress and accuracy
- Provide regular status updates and ensure compliance with governance frameworks
- Streamline existing policy content to improve clarity and eliminate redundancies

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Proven experience in technical policy authoring and project management
- Strong familiarity with the NIST 800-53 framework and security policies
- Proficiency in MS Project and collaboration tools such as Teams
- Exceptional communication skills to engage with stakeholders and SMEs
- Ability to work independently while ensuring project alignment with organizational goals

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in the Life Sciences industry or consulting environment
- Knowledge of governance frameworks and approval processes for policy updates
- Familiarity with policy template design and refinement
- Strong analytical skills to assess policy effectiveness and alignment
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
