Graphics Designer

ROLE

We need an experienced Graphics Developer to support the Real Warriors Campaign (RWC) at the Defense Health Agency’s Psychological Health Center of Excellence (PHCoE). The RWC is a public health initiative promoting psychological health, reducing stigma, and supporting suicide prevention among service members, families, and the DoD community. In this role, you will create multi-channel campaign content, manage RWC product inventories, develop audience-specific materials, support communications and outreach efforts, and report on campaign activities and engagement. RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Propose, develop, and implement outreach, awareness, and educational activities.
  2. Review the RWC website to ensure that content is current and accurate, and that links are active.
  3. Participate in developing a strategic communication plan that includes actionable communication, media engagement, and marketing efforts to inform campaign over the next five years.
  4. Collaborate with SMEs to produce new RWC campaign content across multiple communication channels (print, digital, social media, etc.) in various formats (brochures, posters, videos, PSAs, etc.) targeting active duty service members, families, medical providers, commanders, and others.
  5. Create and tailor presentation materials suitable for event audiences to communicate RWC key themes and provide campaign information.
  6. Maintain a comprehensive list of all publicly available RWC products, including articles, infographics, videos, multimedia, and campaign materials across platforms.
  7. Produce and deliver quarterly Campaign Outreach Review Reports detailing event participation, materials disseminated, and key themes.

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects) and other industry-standard design tools.
  2. Experience producing digital, print, and multimedia content for diverse audiences across platforms.
  3. Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  4. Experience supporting federal government, military, or public health campaigns is preferred.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field is preferred.

CLEARANCE

  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Ability to obtain public trust clearance.

  • 40 hours per week
  • 8 hours per day

Other Considerations

Applicants will be subject to a background check. The primary workstation is in an office environment with low to moderate noise. The role requires sitting for extended periods (up to 80%), frequent movement for accessing office equipment, and occasional reaching, bending, and lifting objects up to 10 lbs. Visual requirements include extensive use of computer screens.
