To promote, educate and attract customers (both new and existing) to the LA Police Gear website, brand, retail stores and social media outlets.
Essential Functions:
- Update website banners, graphics, and email advertisements on a regular basis.
- Use Adobe software to create materials for both print and the website.
- Verify timelines on projects with both internal management as well as outside vendors.
- Design relevant and on trend graphics that can be used for (including but not limited to): apparel, flyers, patches, print and online advertisements, packaging, catalogs, posters, infographics, social media outlets, websites, and other medias otherwise not specified.
- Digital clean-up from photo studio (creating clipping paths, color correction, graphic design of said elements for ads).
- Assist photographer with photo shoots (styling, modeling, lighting, etc.)
- Updating and maintaining social media and cross promotion for LA Police Gear.
- Copy writing on a limited basis.
- Give art direction on print, web and photo shoots on a limited basis.
- Brainstorm and present concepts for new products and/or promotions.
- Produce work on a tight deadline schedule.
Skills:

- Proficient in the English language.
- Excellent time management.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Dreamweaver).
- Coding in HTML and previous webpage design experience preferred.
- Friendly, good natured and patient demeanor.
- Ability to execute marketing campaigns.
Knowledge:
Requires Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design.
Physical Job Requirements:
- Sitting on a constant basis.
- Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, squatting, lifting and stooping on an occasional basis.
- Climbing stairs on a daily basis.
- Climbing hilly terrain on an occasional basis (for photoshoots).
- Viewing information on monitors, phone, and paperwork.
- Manual dexterity to operate all phone, camera, computer equipment and products.
