We are looking for an experienced engineer with a passion for excellence. The Technical Support Engineer will be responsible for managing and resolving challenging issues for ServiceNow partners and customers. This includes developing subject matter expertise within the customer support department and mentoring junior team members in various technologies. The successful candidate will be able to quickly gain an understanding of the ServiceNow platform. This is a customer-facing role in a very collaborative environment and therefore it requires strong interpersonal skills.
The position requires working a shift from 8am-5pm PST and may sometimes involve work outside normal business hours (evening/weekend shifts, holidays) with flexibility for schedule changes. Successful candidates will be trained and mentored in these technologies by our senior staff and will support a growing global customer base. The role offers generous earning potential and opportunities for growth within the company.
This position also requires passing a ServiceNow background screening called USFedPASS, which includes a credit check, criminal/misdemeanor check, and drug test. Employment is contingent upon passing this screening. Due to Federal requirements, only US citizens, naturalized US citizens, or US Permanent residents with a green card will be considered.

Interview Process:
- First round - 1-hour panel interview with the hiring manager and one additional manager (non-technical questions)
- Final round - 1-hour panel interview with 2-3 engineers (technical questions)
Note: This position requires onsite presence weekly on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Skills:
- Highly experienced in troubleshooting complex technical issues
- Strong object-oriented programming skills in Java/JavaScript
- Experience with dynamic HTML components: AJAX, JavaScript, AngularJS, CSS, XML, HTML, XHTML
- Working knowledge of web application components
- Experience with relational databases such as MySQL
- Excellent communication skills
- Commitment to quality and customer service
- Ability to work with high-value customer administrators and developers
- Understanding of basic networking and system administration
Nice to Haves:
- Working knowledge of ServiceNow Platform
- Fundamental Linux and/or UNIX knowledge
- Understanding of ITSM and ITIL processes
- Experience with Web Services (SOAP, REST)
- Data extraction technologies (JDBC, ODBC)
- Experience with system integration and remote administration tools
- Familiarity with Eclipse IDE
- Experience with relational databases (MySQL, Oracle)
Pay Rate Range:
- $30-35.71/hr
