Technical Support Engineer UX, 36322606 What you get to do in this role:

We are looking for an experienced engineer with a passion for excellence. The Technical Support Engineer will be responsible for managing and resolving challenging issues for ServiceNow partners and customers. This includes developing subject matter expertise within the customer support department and mentoring junior team members in various technologies. The successful candidate will be able to quickly gain an understanding of the ServiceNow platform. This is a customer-facing role in a very collaborative environment and therefore it requires strong interpersonal skills. The position requires working a shift from 8am-5pm PST and may involve working outside normal business hours (evening/weekend shifts, holidays) with flexible scheduling. Candidates will be trained and mentored in relevant technologies by senior staff and will support a growing global customer base. This position requires passing a ServiceNow background screening called USFedPASS, which includes a credit check, criminal/misdemeanor check, and drug test. Employment is contingent upon passing this screening. Due to federal requirements, only US citizens, naturalized citizens, or US Permanent Residents holding a green card will be considered. Interview Process:

First round: 1-hour panel interview with the hiring manager and one additional manager (non-technical questions) Final round: 1-hour panel interview with 2-3 engineers (technical questions)

Note:

This position requires weekly onsite presence on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Skills: Experience troubleshooting difficult technical issues Object-oriented programming in Java/JavaScript Experience with dynamic HTML components: AJAX, JavaScript, AngularJS, CSS, XML, HTML, XHTML Knowledge of web application components Experience with relational databases like MySQL Excellent communication skills Commitment to quality and customer service Ability to work with high-value customer administrators and developers Basic networking and system administration understanding Value work-life balance with office presence in the office

Nice to Haves:

Knowledge of ServiceNow Platform Linux and/or UNIX knowledge Understanding of ITSM and ITIL processes Web Services (SOAP, REST) Data extraction technologies (JDBC, ODBC) Experience with system integration and remote administration Familiarity with Eclipse IDE Experience with relational databases (MySQL, Oracle)

Pay Rate Range:

$40-46.02/hr
