Worldwide Studio Tours and Retail division is home to an expanding portfolio of Warner Bros. Discovery-owned visitor attractions and experiential retail stores around the world, each designed with visitor engagement and exceptional customer service at their core. The division includes Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter and Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo – The Making of Harry Potter, which opened in 2023. It also supports Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood, showcasing the production secrets behind popular films and TV shows at the studios where they were made. The division is also home to The Harry Potter Shop at Platform 9 ¾, Harry Potter New York, and offers an online experience at Harrypottershop.com. This position will support the Harry Potter Chicago store by maximizing customer and fan engagement in an inspiring, best-in-class retail environment. The role primarily oversees visual merchandise and leads a team of brand specialists to deliver an evolving guest experience. Additionally, you will connect with guests through excellent service and addressing their needs to enhance their shopping experience. Responsibilities Assist the store manager with interviewing, onboarding, and training employees. Evaluate, coach, and counsel staff to meet expectations. Conduct staff meetings and attend all relevant meetings. Create staffing and zoning plans for all associates. Serve as the lead point of contact for employees. Conduct performance reviews and manage corrective actions. Develop store succession plans. Open and/or close the store, manage cash drawers, and complete financial reports. Maintain a safe, clean work environment and ensure safety standards. Develop product knowledge among team members. Create visually appealing displays adhering to brand and safety standards. Manage facility maintenance and technical tickets. Drive profitability and manage store shrink. Follow cash handling policies and optimize operational strategies to meet KPIs. Oversee inventory levels and implement strategies to increase profitability. Promote a positive guest experience and handle guest issues effectively. Collaborate on product placement based on seasonal trends. Minimum Qualifications At least 4 years of experience in premium or high-volume retail management. Strong understanding of business and financial concepts. Proven leadership skills to drive results. Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Open availability for flexible scheduling, including overnights, evenings, holidays, and weekends.
