Base pay range $50.00/hr - $60.00/hr Direct message the job poster from Eliassen Group Lead Technical Recruiter at Eliassen Group Training/Content Designer **Hybrid- Fort Worth, TX** Duration: 5+month contract with possible extensions Rate: $50-$60 hourly W2 Location: Fort Worth, TX 3-4 days a week onsite Our client is looking for a highly creative and detail-oriented Content Designer with a strong blend of instructional design, UX thinking, and graphic design expertise to develop impactful training materials and presentation content for our client. In this role, you’ll transform complex concepts into clear, user-centered learning experiences, ensuring both form and function support the learner’s journey. You’ll play a key role in shaping how learning content is visually structured, experienced, and retained. **Prefer candidates to have a portfolio linked on their resume that showcases a mix of content design, presentation slides, UX layouts, and visual storytelling** Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. Responsibilities: Design, structure, and deliver compelling training content and PowerPoint presentations aligned with user needs and learning goals. Apply user experience (UX) principles to design intuitive, learner-focused materials, with attention to hierarchy, flow, and accessibility. Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to translate technical and conceptual content into digestible, engaging formats. Create visually cohesive layouts using branding guidelines, typographic hierarchy, iconography, and color theory. Develop infographics, diagrams, templates, and visual frameworks to support content comprehension. Conduct user testing and feedback loops to refine learning materials based on audience experience and effectiveness. Contribute to and manage a visual style guide for training collateral and slide decks. Ensure consistency in visual storytelling and instructional flow across different delivery formats (in-person, virtual, self-paced). Qualifications: 4+ years of experience in content creation for training, communications, or product enablement—preferably in a corporate or professional setting Demonstrated experience with UX design principles, including wireframing and user flow mapping, for learning or presentation content Local to the Dallas/Fort Worth area and can work a hybrid schedule Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and experience using visual tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, or Canva Strong command of layout, spacing, typography, color theory, and responsive design for various training formats Working knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and inclusive design for learning content Excellent written communication, visual storytelling, and instructional design skills. Experience with e-learning tools such as Articulate 360, Rise, Adobe Captivate, or similar platforms strongly preferred Familiarity with Agile workflows, Design Thinking, or Lean UX principles Understanding of adult learning theory and frameworks such as ADDIE, SAM, or Bloom’s Taxonomy preferred Prior portfolio and work samples Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Graphic Design, UX Design, Communications, or related field. Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
