Part-Time Music Marketplace Coordinator Job at Indiana University in Bloomington

The Jacobs School Marketplace is an online store that offers Indiana University (IU) Jacobs branded apparel and merchandise. Marketplace also has a kiosk in the Musical Arts Center that is open during mainstage performances and special events (admissions weekends, orientation, graduation, etc.).

Job Summary

• Responsible for setting up and operating the kiosk, tracking inventory, and communicating with business office staff.
• Work at kiosk prior to house-open, during intermission, and after performances and events (including set-up and tear-down). Performance lengths vary, but generally around 2-3 hours.
• Track inventory and communicate when items are low in stock.
• Maintain point of sale (POS) devices to ensure that they are operating properly and communicate any issues.
• Run sales reports and close the POS and Marketplace Kiosk at end of each shift.

Qualifications

EDUCATION
Required

• High school diploma or equivalent (such as HSED or GED)

WORK EXPERIENCE
Required

• Customer service experience

Preferred

• Retail sales experience

SKILLS
Required

• Strong problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills
• Comfortable with computers and technology
