Position Overview

The Sr. Technical Lead is a Mid-Tier technical Operator, focusing on small general session work or assisting with larger sessions. This role acts as a bridge between technical lead and technical specialist, reporting to an Operations Manager, Director of Operations, or DET.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Ensure flawless event execution through accurate setup, operation, and breakdown of audiovisual equipment.
• Troubleshoot technical issues promptly.
• Comply with all security and safety measures.
• Secure equipment from theft or damage.

Customer Service

• Provide excellent service, exceeding customer expectations.
• Maintain positive relationships through effective communication.
• Collaborate on event solutions pre- and during events for customer satisfaction.

Training/Staff Development

• Foster technical and leadership skills development.
• Mentor and coach team members to enhance technical skills.

Event Supervision

• Perform advanced work pre/during/post event with the team.
• Supervise and direct technicians during events.

Equipment Maintenance

• Assist with security, storage, transportation, and maintenance of equipment.
• Manage inventory and forecast equipment needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of field experience in the specialty area.
• Customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• Complete all required training and certifications as per company policy.
• Ability to interact professionally with diverse groups and management.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to lift 50 lbs.

Physical & Work Environment

Must meet physical demands, including lifting, standing, and working in various environments, including hotel and warehouse settings, with irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Compensation & Benefits
