Position Overview The Sr. Technical Lead is a Mid-Tier technical Operator, focusing on small general session work or assisting with larger sessions. This role acts as a bridge between technical lead and technical specialist, reporting to an Operations Manager, Director of Operations, or DET. Key Job Responsibilities Ensure flawless event execution through accurate setup, operation, and breakdown of audiovisual equipment. Troubleshoot technical issues promptly. Comply with all security and safety measures. Secure equipment from theft or damage. Customer Service Provide excellent service, exceeding customer expectations. Maintain positive relationships through effective communication. Collaborate on event solutions pre- and during events for customer satisfaction. Training/Staff Development Foster technical and leadership skills development. Mentor and coach team members to enhance technical skills. Event Supervision Perform advanced work pre/during/post event with the team. Supervise and direct technicians during events. Equipment Maintenance Assist with security, storage, transportation, and maintenance of equipment. Manage inventory and forecast equipment needs. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Minimum 2 years of field experience in the specialty area. Customer service or hospitality experience preferred. Complete all required training and certifications as per company policy. Ability to interact professionally with diverse groups and management. Valid driver’s license and ability to lift 50 lbs. Physical & Work Environment Must meet physical demands, including lifting, standing, and working in various environments, including hotel and warehouse settings, with irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
