We’re looking for a Staff UX Designer to join our UX & Design team. This position is full-time and based in Singapore and reports to the UX & Design Manager. This role is ideal for UX Designers who excel in stakeholder management, facilitate design and technical discussions to accelerate execution, love solving complex problems, and want to influence the long-term vision for scaling our operations to reach a larger audience. At Viki, you’ll be essential in providing a world-class service to our users while our business scales up.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Partner with PM and data teams to define and execute product strategy and roadmap
  • Map out user journeys and create user flows for different personas
  • Mentor and guide members of the UX team
  • Bring user stories and insights to life through storytelling
  • Develop strategic design vision and manage user complexity
  • Present insights and foster team collaboration to co-create solutions
  • Lead UX discovery and deliver solutions based on deep understanding of user behaviors
  • Create design prototypes, micro-interactions, and transitions
  • Conduct usability tests to refine designs
  • Collaborate with Product, Business, and Engineering teams to research and translate requirements into solutions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree with 8+ years of experience as a UX Designer, experience with productivity or B2B products is a plus
  • Experience designing solutions and design systems
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think differently and solve problems
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills, able to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Data-driven and research-oriented, capable of designing workflows supporting business objectives
  • Experience in startup or media company environments
  • BS/MS in Interaction Design, Product Design, or a related field is a plus
  • Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative data analysis is a plus
