Solomon Page is hiring: Designer in New York

Our client, the in-house agency of a globally recognized financial institution, is looking for a Visual Designer to support a new, high-visibility initiative focused on elevating executive presence across social media, digital channels, and presentations. This initiative supports C-Suite executives, Managing Directors, and Executive Directors, and will expand significantly over time. This is a hybrid position based in NYC, requiring in-office presence three days per week (specific days vary). The role offers the opportunity to work on a growing program that combines design, strategy, and storytelling at the enterprise level. Responsibilities: Design visually engaging content for social and digital channels to support the personal brands of senior leaders Develop original graphics and adapt existing assets into social, digital, and presentation formats Create simple motion assets using After Effects, Canva, or Figma to bring static designs to life Design polished executive decks that complement digital and social storytelling Collaborate closely with content strategists, marketers, and cross-functional stakeholders Translate creative briefs into smart, brand-aligned design solutions Maintain consistency across deliverables while exploring new formats and approaches Support the development of design templates and scalable systems as the program expands Present work to internal stakeholders and contribute to strategic discussions around visual direction Required Qualifications: 3+ years of design experience with a strong portfolio showcasing social, digital, and presentation work Proficient in Figma, Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); After Effects is a plus Demonstrated experience creating motion graphics for digital and social channels (even simple animations) Strong understanding of platform nuances-especially LinkedIn Familiarity with designing for corporate/financial brands or clients Highly collaborative and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment Clear communicator with a proactive, problem-solving mindset If you meet the required qualifications and are interested in this role, please apply today.
