We are looking for a Freelance Handbag Designer for a top fashion company in New York, New York.
Responsibilities:
- Research and evaluate seasonal design trends.
- Generate tech packs for all handbag design and development.
- Create illustrations and technical drawings for new concepts, hardware and CADs.
- Correspond with factories daily during product development phase and sample follow up.
- Ensure all spec packages are completed accurately and on time.
- Update and revise existing technical specs with design changes; finalize technical specs in prep for production.
- 5+ years of handbag design experience.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, and Excel.
- Able to CAD and generate technical handbag specifications.
- CAD proficient.
- Must be able to work onsite
