OVERVIEW OF THE COMPANY

Fox TV Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S., including stations in 14 of the top 15 largest DMAs and duopolies in 11 DMAs, such as New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago. Of these, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. The stations produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news weekly, distributing sports, entertainment, syndicated content, and leveraging viewer, distributor, and advertiser demand for the FOX Network’s content.

Join KTVU FOX 2 and Fox Local, the Bay Area's leading news source! We seek passionate individuals committed to journalism and top-tier reporting across broadcast and digital platforms. We are looking for a curious, creative, and competitive Supervising Editor with a vision for digital growth.

The Supervising Editor oversees video ingest and editing for our newsroom, manages a team, and shapes digital content for online platforms, streaming, and social media. This union position offers comprehensive medical benefits.

What You’ll Do:

• Oversee selection and editing of news video content, including live feeds, VOs, VO-SOTS, and packages.
• Manage HFR stories and digital video content for broadcast and online.
• Foster a collaborative, innovative work environment.
• Collaborate with producers and team members on content contribution.
• Ensure content quality, accuracy, and alignment with editorial standards.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and develop workflows to prevent errors.
• Uphold journalistic ethics and standards.
• Proficiency in Edius editing software.
• Work under tight deadlines managing multiple projects.
• Communicate effectively and build strong interpersonal relationships.

Pursuant to pay disclosure laws, the pay rate is $49.85/hour, with eligibility for benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and other benefits per plan documents. Union employees’ benefits are governed by the collective bargaining agreement.
