Job Description

Join Our Team at Christ Church!

Position: Media Administrative Coordinator

At Christ Church, every role matters — because every team member matters. When you join our staff, you’re not just taking a job, you’re stepping into a calling where your work directly impacts lives, worship, and our mission of “Uniting People to God and People to People.”

We’re looking for a Media Administrative Coordinator — someone who thrives on details, loves making things run smoothly, and wants to be part of a team where your work creates real impact. If you love details, communication, and helping a creative team shine, this is your chance to play a vital role in bringing powerful, distraction-free worship experiences to life.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

As our Media Administrative Coordinator, you’ll be the heartbeat of our Media Department. From keeping schedules and volunteers organized to making sure production logistics run like clockwork, you’ll bring order to the moving parts that create extraordinary experiences. Your work ensures that our pastors, worship teams, and production staff can focus on what matters most: helping people connect with Christ.

  • You won’t just clock in — you’ll contribute to moments that help people encounter Christ every week
  • You’ll join a supportive, innovative, faith-filled culture that values your voice and celebrates your growth
  • You’ll get to do meaningful work and enjoy a fun, welcoming workplace where collaboration is key

What You’ll Do

As the pulse of the Media Department, you’ll:

  • Keep it running: Manage files, schedules, archives, checklists, SOPs, workflows, and communication — from agendas and meeting notes to copyright compliance — so the Media Team can focus on creativity and excellence
  • Champion collaboration: Equip the Media Team and multiple teams across campuses to ensure seamless worship services, live productions, and special events, while also serving as a point of contact for departments, contractors, and guest partners
  • Support the team: Provide staff and volunteers with clear communication, tools, and encouragement, while coordinating logistics for worship services, events, and broadcasts — ensuring everyone is prepared and confident to serve with excellence
  • Back the creatives: From pre-service checklists to real-time event support, you’ll be the steady hand behind the scenes that makes everything possible
  • Steward resources: Support budget tracking, expense reporting, vendor coordination, and equipment care — overseeing check-in/out systems, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintaining archives of past projects and media assets so every detail is covered and future ministry moments are set up for success
  • Empower volunteers: Onboard, train, and equip team members with clear communication and support — inspiring our volunteer media team to thrive as they serve
  • Be part of the fun: Join a collaborative, innovative, and faith-filled team that values your voice, sparks your growth, and celebrates your wins

Here, your work doesn’t just check boxes — it changes lives.

Why This Role Matters

This role is the glue that holds the Media Department together. Every checklist you organize, every volunteer you encourage, every system you refine, and every resource you steward clears the way for life-changing ministry to happen. You’re not just supporting production — you’re helping create spaces where worship is seamless, messages are heard, and thousands of people encounter the hope of Christ.

When you bring order to the details, you make room for transformation. When you support the team, you help unleash creativity. And when you keep the mission moving forward, you ensure every ministry moment is filled with excellence, joy, and eternal impact.

What We’re Looking For

We know the right person for this role isn’t just skilled — they’re passionate about serving, eager to grow, and excited to make a difference. If you’re someone who thrives on details, teamwork, and seeing big things come to life, you’ll fit right in here.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Educated or experienced: A Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Media, Administration, or a related field is preferred — but equivalent experience counts too
  • Seasoned support: 2+ years of experience in administrative support, event coordination, or media/production environments
  • Team wrangler: Experience coordinating teams or volunteers in a fast-paced setting — you know how to bring people together and keep things moving

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Characteristics

  • Detail-lover: A natural organizer who can juggle schedules, files, and deadlines without breaking a sweat
  • Clear communicator: Strong written and verbal skills to keep people, projects, and priorities aligned
  • Tech-ready: Comfortable with Microsoft 365 and open to learning new tools like Planning Center and Rock RMS
  • Problem-solver: Calm, flexible, and resourceful when plans shift or surprises pop up
  • Collaborator: A team player with a servant’s heart who thrives in fast-paced, creative, faith-filled environments
  • Discreet & professional: Handles sensitive information with care, integrity, and trustworthiness
  • Growth-minded: Open to learning, improving processes, and helping the ministry innovate and excel

Preferred Qualifications

  • Media-savvy: Familiarity with audio, video, and live-streaming production environments is a big plus
  • Tool-friendly: Experience with production tools like ProPresenter, Planning Center, Rock RMS, or livestream platforms
  • Tech-smart: Knowledge of A/V equipment setup and media asset management — you know how to keep the gear humming
  • Bonus points: Experience in church, nonprofit, or production settings where creativity and mission collide
