We are hiring a Cohort Engagement Instructor (CE Instructor) to support our Texas-based Studio Justice cohort. This role is central to ensuring smooth communication and coordination across participants, families, and community partners, while fostering a vibrant and inclusive learning environment.

Position Overview:
We are hiring a Cohort Engagement Instructor (CE Instructor) to support our Texas-based Studio Justice cohort. This role is central to ensuring smooth communication and coordination across participants, families, and community partners, while fostering a vibrant and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for communications with participants, parents, guest speakers, and panelists
- Coordinate logistics and scheduling for guest professionals and visitors
- Support 8-9 week cohort engagement for 1518 youth (ages 1420)
- Help cultivate a culture of affirmation, creativity, and justice-centered learning
- Lead restorative justice practices and model Studio Justice values
- Collaborate closely with the Lead Instructor and Program Administrator
- High School Graduate, or GED completion
- Experience designing and implementing curriculum and programing for youth ages 14 20
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience working with youth in educational or community settings
- Ability to manage multiple relationships and logistics with professionalism
- Familiarity with restorative justice and youth development principles
- Proficiency with, or willingness to learn, Zoom, Adobe Acrobat, Google applications such as Gmail, drive, docs, sheets, slides, forms, etc.
- Presentation and instructional software such as Miro and Sketchup
- Must be able to pass a background check as required by the Oregon Department of Education for positions working directly with youth and have a clean driving record in the previous year
- Commitment to ELSOs mission and values, including diversity, inclusion, and environmental justice
Work remote temporarily due to COVID-19.
