• Create and edit high-quality content such as press releases, social media posts, and blog articles.
• Manage media relations, including responding to inquiries and coordinating with reporters.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including graphic designers and marketing staff, to ensure cohesive messaging.
• Plan and execute promotional campaigns that drive engagement and visibility.
• Oversee the production of marketing materials, such as brochures and advertisements.
• Utilize content management systems to publish and organize digital content effectively.
• Monitor and analyze the performance of communication efforts, making recommendations for improvement.
• Engage with stakeholders, including students and attorneys, to foster community awareness and transparency.
• Ensure all communication outputs are consistent with the organization's branding guidelines.• Proven experience in media relations, public relations, or marketing communications.
• Exceptional writing skills, with a focus on crafting press releases and other precise messaging.
• Familiarity with tools like Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe InDesign, and content management systems.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills for engaging with diverse audiences, including reporters and attorneys.
• Background in nonprofit, legal, or higher education settings is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in campaign planning and email marketing platforms.
