ABOUT THE ROLE
Sales Manager focused on Audience Acquisition is responsible for leading a team to acquire new customers or users, often in a subscription-based or event-driven context. This role involves developing and implementing strategies to attract and convert potential customers, collaborating with marketing and other teams, and analyzing performance to optimize results.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Your role is to recruit qualifying financial services professionals into our industry leading hosted meetings program by:
- Building and maintaining an active list of prospects/targets
- Managing the outreach program through direct marketing or approved partnerships
- Creating and maintaining a comprehensive tracker for performance and reporting purposes
- Establishing regular communication with your confirmed attendees to maintain their commitment to attend. NB only actual attendees are considered for target/commission purposes
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 3-5 years of experience in prospecting and sales within the events or finance industry.
- Be an effective salesperson with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Be able to run a process efficiently and thoroughly, effectively setting up direct reports for success.
- Bring a flair for marketing communications, with the ability to craft compelling messaging
- Be passionate about building an admired product and cultivating community across the financial services and related industries.
- Be on top of finance and fintech industry news and trends (funding raised, acquisitions, company results, etc.).
- Knowledge and ease of use across operating systems such as Hubspot and CRM tool.
- Work efficiently in Microsoft Excel; ability to create pivot tables, carry out v-lookup and basic formulas for data manipulation and analysis, etc.
- Have strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize and analyze large amounts of data with attention to detail and accuracy.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
- The salary band for this position ranges from $80,000 - $90,000 based on experience
- This position will be eligible for a competitive bonus structure
