Candidates must be able to facilitate the Department of Communication office operations as an office assistant, answering phones and emails, making photocopies, and generally assisting students and faculty with office-related activities.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Staff the department office, answer phone calls and emails, and handle drop-in inquiries from students and faculty.
- Assist department faculty and the department chair with various tasks.
- Reformat documents, send emails to campus entities, update social media, promote departmental events, and update quarterly schedules for faculty and adjuncts.
- Assist the Department of Pre-Health with similar tasks as above.
Must be a current La Sierra University student.
10 hours per week.
Wage Range: $16.50/hr
