Job Title: Production Assistant, Creative

A little bit about our team:

The Creative Department at Atlantic Records operates as a full-service, agency-like team within the label, uniquely dedicated to building and sustaining artist careers at the intersection of art, video, branding, music, digital innovation, and technology. Unlike any other department in the industry, we act as true creative partners to our artists, ensuring every visual and creative touchpoint reflects and amplifies their individual voice.

Our work spans every dimension of an artist’s career: music videos, photography, touring visuals, merchandise, digital and social campaigns, advertising, and beyond. We collaborate closely with artists, managers, and marketing teams to shape, narrate, and bring to life the world that defines each artist’s vision: delivering creative assets that not only brand and identify them but also connect deeply with audiences across platforms.

Atlantic Records’ Creative Department functions less like a traditional label division and more like a forward-thinking creative agency. By combining innovation with a deep understanding of artistry, we are able to foster long-term growth, elevate creative expression, and deliver culturally impactful campaigns that extend far beyond music.

Your role:

As Production Assistant, Creative, you’ll assist in ensuring shoots run smoothly, logistics are locked, teams are supported, and all production components—from budget actualizing to post-production wrap—are handled efficiently and professionally. You’ll be the operational support across video and photo productions, helping manage the details that bring creative ideas to life. This role supports both artist-facing and executive-facing needs, requiring strong attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.

Here you'll get to:

  • Assist on all commissioned shoots to help ensure creative is executed properly, safely, and within budget.
  • Submit invoices (production and artist costs), opening and adjusting purchase orders, and supporting budget actualization alongside the finance team.
  • Onboard vendors and facilitate proper setup for payment and production involvement.
  • Coordinate artist, artist team, and executive travel, including flight/hotel bookings and production itineraries.
  • Declare and track production insurance for each shoot.
  • Organize all production details—budgets, treatments, shoot dates, artist costs, and deliverables—to internal teams and partners.
  • Support day-to-day production related tasks.
  • Assist in post-production coordination by tracking review links, download requests, and delivery of final assets.
  • Handle executive expense reports and coordinating related logistics.
  • Assist in developing the visual language that defines how artists are seen across the world.
  • Be a part of a dynamic and collaborative creative process that involves artists, managers, and multiple departments.
  • Discover, develop and maintain relationships with current and emerging creative talent: photographers, stylists, illustrators, designers, etc.
  • Coordinate the operational side of high-impact creative projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Learn and grow within a passionate, culturally connected, and artist-focused team.
  • Participate in team meetings, weekly project updates, creative brainstorms, artist meetings and department meetings.
  • Use our project management tools and asset management systems to keep all work collaborative and communicated daily.

About you:

  • You thrive in fast-paced, creative environments and love being part of the behind-the-scenes engine that keeps things moving.
  • You’re a team player who takes pride in being highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable.
  • You have strong communication and collaboration skills, and you know how to multitask without losing track of the details.
  • You’re excited by music, creativity, and supporting talent at the highest level.
  • You can communicate your ideas verbally and/or in emails
  • You can multitask, prioritize and manage multiple deadlines and urgent tasks
  • You understand no job is too big or too small
  • You are excellent at listening, interpreting, self-starting, and presenting.

We’d love it if you also had:

  • A working knowledge of production and post-production workflows, formats, and best practices.
  • Experience managing vendor communications, travel coordination, and budgeting.
  • The ability to anticipate needs, solve problems quickly, and support across a variety of project types.
  • A desire to grow and expand within a creative team that values initiative and trust.
