Are you a content-savvy storyteller with a passion for audience engagement and digital innovation? Here’s your chance to shape the voice and visual identity of some of Louisiana’s leading publications across web and social platforms.

Melara Enterprises, parent company of Business Report, 225 Magazine, inRegister and other top Capital Region brands, is looking for a Digital News Strategist to join our award-winning editorial team. This isn’t just a post-and-go kind of gig. You’ll be driving strategy, creating compelling content, and analyzing real-time results to help our stories resonate far and wide.

In This Role, You’ll

• Collaborate with editors to amplify major projects and transform content from our print publications into digital experiences.
• Craft and curate digital and social media content that elevates our storytelling across B2B and B2C publications.
• Use tools like video, graphics and photography to enhance our news presence and brand experience.
• Launch engaging social media campaigns, optimize SEO, and respond to audience trends in real time.
• Help us innovate—think immersive digital packages, exclusive multimedia, and interactive reader experiences.
• Own performance metrics: Produce and present analytics to guide strategy and sharpen impact.
• You’ll work across platforms, across teams, and across communities—making a measurable difference in how the Capital Region sees and shares its stories.
  
  

Ideal candidates are part strategist, part journalist, part trend-watcher.

You’ll need strong writing skills, experience with content management systems like WordPress, an eye for design, and a pulse on what performs in today’s fast-moving digital landscape.
