Key Responsibilities:

• Produce high-quality technical documentation for all deliverables, applications, and integration points. Ensure all documentation meets Section 508 accessibility requirements.
• Develop user guides, quick reference materials, and training documents to support system rollouts and ongoing user adoption.
• Maintain version control and ensure documentation is updated with each software enhancement and throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and end users to translate complex technical subjects into clear, user-friendly content.
• Support preparation of reports, briefing materials, compliance deliverables (e.g., Section 508 ACRs), and ad-hoc data call responses.
• Ensure all records are managed per government records management and data security policies.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Writing, Information Systems, or equivalent field.
• 3+ years of experience in technical writing supporting federal IT programs.
• Demonstrated understanding of Section 508 document accessibility standards and best practices.
• Proven ability to collaborate in Agile and cross-functional teams, with experience producing various formats: manuals, online help, training, and policy/procedure documentation.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and stakeholder communication skills.
